I'm a raw bencher and wonder if anyone has ever used one and if so what kind of gains did you make? Did it help with starting strength?

I wasn't super big on it, but was convinced to try it when Bill Gillespie and I trained together.
He used it once a week with bands for starting strength and explosive speed.
It definitely helps range of motion and starting strength...but, if you have any shoulder problems whatsoever, beware and be careful....and use lighter weight. You can get hurt in a hurry if you're not smart with that bar.
