Today I used my flexionator machine to stretch out my knees 30min per knee. Did 100 leg extensions with 10lbs per leg. Then I dragged a car tire for an hour half forward & half backward. I dragged a big truck tire 4 lengths (100 feet per length I believe). I will do the flexionator one more time today then I may go to the gym and do upper body. Still recovering from my bilateral patella tears in April. Finished out the day with upper body 3 sets of 10 reps, lowcable rows, hammer incline, sider laterals, rope tricep extensions, and hammer curls.

Where you from Pat? Sorry to hear about your injury. That particular injury you had (have) is time consuming in recovery. My training partner went through the same thing a few years back.

Thank you, I currently live in Georgia but I grew up in Michigan. This injury is taking longer than I had anticipated. Last year I set new APF american records in the 40-44 242 class Bench, Dead, and total but I lost the total record this summer. In 1995 I traveled to Washington to lift in the North American Championship which was dual sanctioned (APF/USPF) put on by Gus Rethwich. Jeff Maddy lifted in that meet he is a gargantuan of a man.

September 23rd workout. Did leg extensions one legged 3sets of 10 with 20lbs. Then worked both legs together up to 10 reps with 80lbs. Dragged the car tire for an hour on asphalt alternating forwards and backwards, up and down hill also. Did an hour on the flexionator per leg.

Pat, have you tried EMS? I was curious if you thought it worked or not.
I have heard mixed results but more bad than good.
